The hotel provides free transport to and from the airport. Black and white taxis are also available, leaving from outside the arrivals hall. One of the best ways to explore Cairo is by the inexpensive Metro system. Buses and minibuses serve all parts of the city, although taxis are a better option for visitors. Boats depart frequently for University, a landing over on the Giza side of the river. Every second boat continues south to Manial, Rhoda, Giza and Masr al-Qadima (old Cairo).
