<b>Location.</b> The 18th-century First Hotel Reisen is located on the waterfront in the Old Town of Stockholm, Sweden, within 300 metres of the Royal Palace and 500 metres from the Museum of Modern Art. The National Museum and Museum of Modern Art are 500 metres away.
<b>Hotel Features.</b> First Hotel Reisen is a waterfront property on a cobbled street. The maritime- themed lobby features nautical clocks, model ships, dark-wood panelling and Oriental lamps. There is a library lounge with modern and classic Swedish books, and a gift cabinet selling crystal goods and souvenirs. Concierge services and a currency exchange are available.

Reisen Bar and Matsal offers waterfront views and is decorated with historical prints, including old photographs of the hotel. The restaurant serves traditional Swedish dishes such as three types of herring with cheese, salmon and lemon. The travel-themed Reisen Bar and Lounge features the building's original brick wall, Chesterfield sofas, and antiques from India and China. Cocktails and light meals are served, and there is a DJ in the summer.

There is a meeting room and breakout room with the original interior of a 1910 ship. Meeting facilities for up to 218 people are available in the conference boat, moored opposite the entrance.

A vaulted cellar dating back to 1690 now houses First Hotel Reisen's relaxation suite, with a plunge pool and single-sex saunas.

--> <b>Getting there.</b> The Arlanda Express train runs between the airport and Stockholm central station. The journey time is 20 minutes, and single tickets cost 200 SEK. Trains depart from the underground railway station. Flygbussarna airport coaches run between terminals 2, 4 and 5 and central Stockholm every 10 minutes at peak times. Buses to many other destinations are also available. Taxi rank officers are available to guide passengers to a variety of taxis, including environmentally friendly cars.
