The Yusuf Pasa Konagi Hotel in Istanbul is an Ottoman style Turkish mansion located 300 metres from Topkapi Palace and Sultanahmet Mosque, and seven kilometres from downtown. The 20 air-conditioned guestrooms offer views of the Bosphorus Strait and Marmara Sea, and are equipped with minibars, hair dryers, free wireless Internet connections, and satellite television.
Guests of the Yusufpasa Konagi can enjoy a coffee and snack at the hotel's pavement café or relax in the lobby among its antique rugs, fireplace and handcrafted wood furniture. Taxis are available outside the terminal and cost around 15 dollars to the hotel. The hotel also operates a shuttle service to and from the airport and bookable in advance. Istanbul has a cheap public transport network; walking is the best way to see Istanbul, though ferries rate a close second.<BR> Driving directions: From the airport, turn right, then turn left at the roundabout. Go straight ahead for approximately 15 kilometres. After Yenikapi-Aksaray roundabout, enter the street on the left signposted Cankurtaran/Ayasofia. Turn right, then go left after the bridge for the hotel.
